The LDMblue 2000-60 high-power diode laser from Laserline GmbH offers 2-kW output power at 60-mm mrad beam quality, opening up applications in non-ferrous metals such as copper.
High feed rates reduce critical energy inputs into the component. Deep weldings can now be made solely with blue diode lasers. In welding processes that continue to require hybrid systems, the IR energy required can be reduced by about 2 to 3 kW, which leads to a sustainable reduction of the operation costs.
The laser can be compactly integrated into all common production plants.
