Photonics Industries International Inc. has shipped the first of several 120-W, 1064-nm, TEM00 (M2<1.1) lasers from its new PA line of high-power lasers and announced an extension of its high-power multimode DM series.

DM-Laser-&-Controller-1.jpgIn the PA series, up to 150-W infrared (1064 nm) can be converted to over 100 W green (532 nm) or 40 W ultraviolet (355 nm) or 10 W deep-ultraviolet (266 nm) while maintaining TEM00 mode quality, using Photonics Industries’ patented external cavity harmonic generation techniques. The repetition rate is variable from single shot to 150 kHz. In addition, a narrow linewidth option allows this TEM00 power to be confined within a narrow 1.5G Hz linewidth or single longitudinal mode.

Photonics Industries has extended its high-power multimode DM series up to 400 W IR (1064 nm) or 150 W green (532 nm). These high-power lasers are Q-switched pulsed up to 50 kHz. Typical applications include ITO and TO ablation in flat-panel display manufacturing, solar cell scribing, annealing, and flexible PCB processing.
