Designed for a full range of LED characterization measurements, Labsphere Inc.’s CDS-5400 and CDS-9800 high-speed LED spectrometers offer reliability, speed and accuracy with a choice of spectral ranges to suit application needs. Fiber optic connectors link the instruments to a variety of measurement devices for spectroradiometric and photometric measurements for solid-state lighting. When used with the company’s integrating spheres, the spectrometers measure critical spectral characteristics of LEDs, including flux; purity; intensity; luminance; tristimulus values; chromaticity co-ordinates; dominant, peak and centroid wavelengths; and correlated color temperature and rendering properties. To capture and organize data, dynamic link library drivers are available to connect the spectrometers to proprietary quality assurance, calibration and production software.
