ORANGEBURG, S.C., Feb. 6, 2015 — High-temperature coatings from Zeus make optical fiber more robust in applications that require mechanical strength and resistance to radiation or abrasion.

They are designed for use with polymers such as PEEK, PFA, ETFE, PVDF and 300 °C NeoTem, which enhances the fibers’ ability to withstand harsh temperatures and chemical environments.

This is particularly beneficial for industrial applications that rely on fiber optics for communications and sensing, including oil and gas, aerospace, medical and automotive.
