WAYNE, N.J., March 10, 2023 — High-speed CameraThe Phantom T4040 high-speed camera from Vision Research Inc. features a back side illuminated (BSI) 2560 × 1664 sensor that maximizes light sensitivity with a peak quantum efficiency of >90%.

Its updated platform is 50% lighter than the closest equivalent model with a maximum frame rate of 9350 fps at full resolution and 444,400 fps at reduced resolution. With its 4-MP sensor and extreme dynamic range, the camera can capture fine detail and movement over larger areas in material impact tests, explosives research, particle imaging, time-resolved particle image velocimetry, and small object magnification.
