LynceeTec.jpgAvailable from Lyncée Tec SA, the DHM R1101 digital holography microscope for 3-D topography with nanometer resolution features two wavelengths working in alternate modes. It provides real-time surface characterization with step heights up to 10 μm in a single step without the need for vertical scanning. It extends the dynamic range to the micron level by eliminating the phase ambiguity of the single-wavelength mode. It can operate as one wavelength for enhanced resolution. The device is employed for measuring the morphology of living cells, including cancer cells and biochips, because it requires neither contact nor the use of contrast agents.
