DAEJEON, South Korea, Aug. 1, 2022 —
The HT-X1 high-resolution holotomography microscope from Tomocube Inc. features an incoherent light source and is suited for higher-throughput and automated screening applications.
The device can image multi-well plate formats with a large field-of-view, laser autofocus system, and a 0.95-NA objective. It presents morphological, mechanical, and chemical properties of individual living cells through the 3D refractive index tomograms without any sample preparation, and molecular specificity information through fluorescence imaging. It uses a conventional single-beam white light LED instead of a laser light source.
Its integrated gassed incubator is useful for long-term time-lapse studies, and its software-driven approach allows multiple users to access its TomoStudio X graphical user interface.
