Rigaku Corporation’s HyPix-3000, a 2-D semiconductor detector, has a large active area of 3000 mm² and a small pixel size of 100 μm² to ensure high spatial resolution.

As a single-photon-counting x-ray detector with a high count rate of 106 counts per second/pixel, the device has a fast readout speed with no noise.

The HyPix-3000 is designed to meet the needs of home lab diffractionists and can switch between 2-D time delay integration, 1-D TDI, 2-D snapshot and 0-D modes with a single detector.
