ITASCA, Ill., Oct. 29, 2014 — A new laser marking system from Keyence combines fiber and YVO4 laser oscillators.

The MD-X Series hybrid laser marker has three axes of control, and a built in 2-D code reader and verifier to accurately mark and check 2-D codes without using a separate device.

The device has a thermopile laser power monitor and an IP64 enclosure rating on the marking head.
