Corning Application Development KitCorning Incorporated’s microHSI™ spectral sensor systems; spanning from the visible to the infrared; combine low size, weight and power (SWaP). The development kit contains vis-NIR module and stand, motorized linear-translation stage and ultra-stable light source. The kit provides the essential tools needed to explore, evaluate and experience the benefits of hyperspectral imaging technology first hand. This allows the user to develop techniques to solve real world problems using hyperspectral technology. The hardware capabilities can grow with a user's needs. The Kit is supported by a family of powerful HSI sensor modules that cover spectral ranges from the visible, vis-NIR, NIR, SWIR, and LWIR spectral regions. The lab-bench based vis-NIR Kit includes a high sensitivity patented vis-NIR HSI module configured for push-broom scanning, with a motorized linear-translation stage and an ultra-stable light source (both require 120VAC power). The system is controlled via HyperC+ software running on a Windows-based tablet (both included). The kit can be configured to translate the sample relative to the sensor (small samples) or to translate the sensor relative to the sample (to support large samples).

Corning offers an extensive line of products, designed to provide high-value, high-performance imaging and remote sensing solutions. This capability builds on a long legacy in optical design and leadership in hyperspectral and multispectral imaging technology.
