Hyperspectral CameraSpecim Spectral Imaging Ltd. has announced the Specim FX17 InGaAs-based near-IR hyperspectral camera designed for the industrial machine vision market.

The device is an affordable technological enabler for industrial on-line quality control, inspection and process monitoring. It provides detailed chemical, physical and biological information, saving money, time and reducing the amount of unrecyclable waste. FX17 has free wavelength selection from 230 bands within the camera coverage. This gives flexibility to choose freely from the full range of 230 bands to down to 4 bands to cover multiple regions of interest while having frame rates from 670 to >15,000 fps, accordingly.

High throughput, a small form factor and high-efficiency grating, the Specim FX17 provides high sensitivity that enables short integration times and a high signal-to-noise ratio for better detection at higher frame rates.
