Kowa American Corporation - Hyperspectral VIS-SWIR LensesKowa’s 1” C-Mount HC-VIS-SW lens series maximizes high resolution imaging from the visible to SWIR wavelength range. With IR-correction, low distortion, and the ability to perform well at 450 to 2000 nm, these lenses are ideal for a wide variety of applications such as high-end surveillance, hyper/multispectral imaging, inspection, food sorting, quality control, anti-counterfeiting, agriculture, and more.

IR-Correction virtually eliminates focus shift in changing lighting conditions allowing for multiwavelength imaging from a single camera without needing to adjust focus. Kowa’s signature floating mechanism design eliminates optical aberrations at all working distances from close to infinity.

12-MP resolution provides 3.1-μm pixel resolving power suitable for SWIR sensors such as Sony IMX990, IMX991, and more.

Spectral data is preserved by combining Kowa's proprietary ultra-wideband multicoating with special low dispersion (XD) glass optics which significantly reduce chromatic aberration (color fringing) and increase broadband VIS-SWIR transmission.
