KRAILLING, Germany, Sept. 15, 2014 — InnoLas Solutions GmbH has introduced the new ILM-2 platform for producing half or quarter solar cells.

The system provides high-aspect-ratio laser grooving and uses a soft wafer breaking method to achieve throughput of 2850 cells per hour.

The ILM-2 can be used as a stand-alone or in-line system, with the option to use different laser sources and different automation concepts.
