iSoft The latest version of its software development tool kit for machine vision and image analysis has been unveiled by Matrox Imaging. The company says the Matrox Imaging Library 7.0 features a geometric model finder that can locate one or more models at any position at scales from 50% to 200% under the harshest of conditions. This tool's calibration compensates for optical and perspective distortions and provides results in real-world coordinates. Pattern models can be shared among calibrated systems. The imaging library supports JPEG2000 image compression/decompression and is available with a collection of ActiveX controls for managing image capture, processing, analysis, display and archiving.
