Optronics is including its newly released image-processing software, PictureFrame 2.1 for Windows, in its QuantiFire, MacroFire, MicroFire and MicroFire monochrome advanced scientific-grade CCD cameras for microscopy. The suite also is available for download as a free upgrade. It offers 48-bit image processing and includes real-time features such as autoexposure, six-channel user-adjustable color correction, live pseudocoloring and live frame averaging with motion compensation control. Postprocessing features include color merge, measurement and annotation, image scripting, macros and report generation.
