Trumpf.jpgTrumpf Inc. has introduced its latest generation of TruDisk lasers. The high-brightness fiber-delivered 4002 model has up to 16 kW of power for use in industrial applications. It maintains beam quality regardless of increases in power, and the integrated sensors and real-time feedback control provide continuous and steady power at the workpiece. The modular design allows individual diodes and laser components to be serviced on-site, and better access to fiber optic cables allows service to be performed while the laser is in operation. Diode life expectancy is >50,000 h.
