INO has released an uncooled microbolometer thermal imager for OEM applications, including multispectral imaging, fire detection, preventive maintenance, surveillance and security, remote temperature measurement, night vision and unmanned aerial vehicles. The Mimic 2 infrared camera is based on a vanadium oxide 160 x 120-pixel microbolometer focal plane array and includes four printed circuit boards in a cube with 3-in. sides. The modular board-level device features low-power consumption, analog and digital links, and battery operation capability.
