IQ Laser Diode ModulesPower Technology Inc. has announced instrument-quality, IQ laser diode modules for high-end OEM applications that emit between 2000 and 3000 nm.

The six additions to the IQ product family are designed for analytical, medical, sensing, illumination, defense and aiming applications. The advanced laser modules are available in combinations that include 2100 nm at 125 mW; 2315 nm at 30 mW; 2450 nm at 60 mW; 2590 nm at 15 mW; 2700 nm at 10 mW; and 2960 nm at 15 mW.

MIR applications require extremely stable wavelength and output power. The IQ addresses these needs with higher powers and custom wavelengths available in the 2000 to 3000 nm ranges.
