Power Technology Inc. has announced an IQ (instrument quality) violet laser diode module with 250 mW of output power at 405 nm. The module delivers the accuracy and power needed to solve complex scientific problems and is designed to better serve the increasing need for power, temperature and wavelength stability. Applications include laser-induced fluorescence, microscopy, spectroscopy, lithography, data storage, flow cytometry, cancer detection, remote optical sensing, holography and illumination.
