The C2 IR camera from Flir Systems Inc. captures heat patterns in real time. The camera produces thermal image JPEGs with 4800 pixels and detects thermal measurements from 14 to 302 °F.

Flir's MSX real-time image enhancement technology adds key details to the thermal images to clarify numbers, letters, texture and other features without compromising the thermal image.

The device weighs 0.29 lb, and is equipped with a 3-in. touch screen and a built-in LED spotlight for photo illumination. A USB port allows for easy data transfer, and the internal memory can store 500 images. The included software allows users to stream nonradiometric IR video.

Newark Element14, a subsidiary of Premier Farnell PLC, is the North American distributor. For more information, visit www.newark.com/flir-systems.
