QUEBEC CITY, Feb. 11, 2019 —
The MICROXCAM-384i-MLWIR IR camera from the National Optics Institute (INO) is based on a sensitive 384- × 288-pixel uncooled microbolometer focal plane array, fabricated using 35-μm pixel VOx technology.
High sensitivity is within a dual band response from 3 to 14 μm. Live video images are provided at 50 Hz and feature a very small footprint of 61 × 61 × 65 mm. Its low power consumption, light weight, and unique ability to see in the MWIR to LWIR range make it ideal for microsatellites.
The camera can be used in astronomy, manufacturing, quality control, process monitoring, spectroscopy, security, and inspection applications.
