MEER, Belgium, June 8, 2016 — IR CamerasFlir Systems Inc. has announced the SC7000 Series of IR cameras for industrial and academic research.

Designed to address any application in single and multispectral analysis, the cameras offer researchers a choice between mid-IR indium antimonide, mid-IR and longwave IR mercury cadmium telluride detectors. The series comes standard with a removable, motorized four-position filter wheel, enabling high-performance imaging of events in a select part of the electromagnetic spectrum.

The SC7000 series can produce high-quality IR imagery in 640 × 512- or 325 × 256-pixel formats with high sensitivity and noise levels as low as 20 mK. Hypercal technology ensures accurate temperature measurement with high sensitivity.
