IR EmittersThe LUXEON IR 2720 line of high-power emitters from Lumileds BV deliver abundant radiant power in an industry standard package for seamless integration in existing designs.

The emitters provide high radiant power of up to 1300 mW at 940 nm or 1250 mW at 850 nm and feature high efficacy with a popular 120° beam angle. The 2.75- × 2-mm LEDs are undomed and especially useful for applications with package height limitations that prevent the use of domed solutions. The emitters address a wide array of cost-conscious IR applications from surveillance and machine vision to iris scanning and health monitors.

The LUXEON IR 2720 line of 940-nm emitters address such applications as biometric identification, machine vision, imaging, military and law enforcement, and traffic and railroad signaling applications.
