The IR diode comes standard in a CCP package and can serve as a pump source for neodymium-based diode-pumped solid-state lasers. It is suitable for applications that require extreme brightness and high output power, including tumor therapy, ophthalmology, and fiber laser and Raman amplifier pumping.
