MEER, Netherlands, Feb. 12, 2021 — IR LED PackageThe SMBB850DS-1200 IR LED package from Ushio Europe BV is a 850-nm device that provides single-chip output power with a 19-W narrow angle.

Effective for long-distance irradiation, the system permits the reduction of LED packages per system, enabling IR irradiation equipment to achieve smaller dimensions and lower costs. The SMBB850DS-1200 series package was developed with a lens, which is capable of emitting a narrow-angle beam using only one chip while significantly increasing the output power per package with a larger LED chip area.

It provides 4 W/package with continuous wave operation and 19 W/package with pulse operation. Light distribution is provided at an angle of ± 19°.
