JENA, Germany, Nov. 5, 2015 — The OPMI PENTERO 800 surgical microscope from Carl Zeiss Meditec AG now features INFRARED 800 fluorescence technology.

The enhancements are tailored to the requirements of breast reconstruction, lymph supermicrosurgery, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

The IR fluorescence technology provides surgeons with additional information on blood flow dynamics during surgical interventions.

The microscope provides magnification up to 39×. Additional features allow for rapid operating room setup, fast balancing and automatic sharp focus on the region of interest without manual adjustment.
