The GF309 IR camera by Flir Systems is suitable for high-temperature inspection applications in the chemical, petrochemical and utility industries.

The portable device monitors gas-fired furnaces, chemical heaters and coal-fired boilers across the entire surface by measuring flames at a distance. It also performs a range of electrical and mechanical inspection tasks.

The camera measures temperatures from −40 to 1500 °C with a sensitivity of less than 25 mK. It offers a detachable, contoured nickel-coated heat shield, a built-in GPS that automatically documents satellite coordinates, a visual camera, and a lamp for dark environments including the outdoors.
