NORTH LOGAN, Utah, March 8, 2023 — IR Thermal Imaging OpticsExtended-range, compact IR thermal imaging optics lenses from Ophir Optronics Solutions Ltd. and MKS Instruments Inc. are high-performance, continuous zoom lenses for air defense systems.

IR technology enables detection, identification, and tracking on small, unmanned aerial systems (sUAS). The high-precision optics feature modulation transfer function close to the diffraction limit, maintained focus through the full zoom and field-of-view range, tight boresight retention, and extended identification ranges of >8 km, and focal length ranges from 21 to 1350 mm.
