IR ThermometerThe CTlaser G7 IR thermometer from Optris GmbH measures temperatures up to 1200° C on glass components.

The device works at a 7.9-µm wavelength which is optimized for low-reflection measurement on ultra-thin flat glass. Measurement errors, caused by the transmission of radiation, are therefore virtually eliminated. The measurement error is 1% of the measuring value, or 1.5° C at low temperatures. An integrated double laser marks the exact measurement location, making the setting of the application easier. The smallest size of the measurement spot at a measurement distance of 70 mm is 1.6 mm for even temperature measurement on small objects.

The CTlaser G7 is suited for the environmental conditions of glass manufacturing.
