Volpi USA has introduced an 18-mm ILP LED coaxial illumination system. This compact version of the company’s CIS product provides stable and homogeneous light output over an 18 x 18-mm area with a working distance of 15 to 35 mm. The product features a one-piece optical unit for improved performance and dust resistance. It is suitable for flaw detection, identification and optical character recognition and is available with either red or white LEDs.
