HAMBURG, Germany, July 15, 2019 — Image Analysis SoftwareThe Stream 2.4 image analysis software from Olympus enables users of any experience level to conduct complex image analysis tasks, from image acquisition to reporting, under any imaging condition.

Simple camera and microscope control makes analysis easy for users who often change their workstations, and intuitive step-by-step workflows enable multiple operators to use the same software for different inspection tasks. Available in eight languages, Olympus Stream guides operators at every step, reducing the need for training and saving time and cost.

The software supports IR imaging for enhanced, nondestructive inspection of silicon wafers and solar cells at the end of the manufacturing process. It also supports various illumination methods, including MIX observation, enabling users to highlight defects and differentiate raised surfaces from depressions that are normally difficult to see with conventional microscopes.
