Designed to improve the sensitivity of high-speed video and camera systems used in low-light machine vision applications, the SIL2 from Specialised Imaging is a high-performance gated image intensifier system.

Extensive triggering facilities allow the SIL2 to be readily interfaced to high-speed video systems and most high-speed cameras. Constructed around high gain microchannel- plate image intensifiers, the SIL2 provides a wide range of sensitivity, gain and resolution options to satisfy even the most demanding machine vision imaging applications.
