Carl Zeiss MicroImaging has released its AxioVision 4.7 image analysis software for materials microscopy and life sciences applications. The software is suitable for capturing, archiving, processing, analyzing, reconstructing and evaluating images in digital microscopy. The Fast MosaiX specialist module option scans large surfaces up to 10 times faster than current solutions can, according to the company, and the Dual Camera mode doubles image acquisition speed by allowing simultaneous image capture from two cameras. The software supports the company’s Axio Examiner microscope and its Definite Focus function in the LSM 710 and Axio Observer. It also supports all components of the SteREO microscope series.
