SAN DIMAS, Calif., Aug. 31, 2023 — The GeoImage Imaging Photometer for Vitrinite Reflectance Measurements from CRAIC Technologies is a microscope imaging photometer with optical capabilities for analyzing materials at a microscale level. This instrument was designed to provide petrologists, geologists, petroleum engineers, and researchers with a reliable and precise method of measuring and mapping the vitrinite reflectance of geological samples. GeoImage may also be configured for point counting and is a fast and reliable multipurpose tool for coal, coke, and petroleum source rock analysis. The product is also equipped with features to enhance user productivity and efficiency, including a motorized sample stage, high-resolution color camera, and software suite for data analysis and manipulation.
