Imaging ScannerOptraScan LLC has announced the 120-slide Whole Slide Imaging Scanner as part of its on-demand subscription model to automate digital pathology.

High-throughput users of digital pathology can now access on-demand digital pathology using OptraScan’s 120-slide WSI scanner through a monthly subscription model with no upfront costs. The OptraScan scanner is equipped to handle high-volume applications such as quality assurance, routine manual analysis, clinical research and drug development. The scanner enables high-speed scanning of whole slide images with an option of a 20× or 40× objective lens.

The integrated image viewer, ImagePath image management and TELEPath telepathology systems, OptraASSAYS and CARDS on-demand image analysis, as well as 10 TB of complimentary storage, make it an ideal solution for new entrants or existing users of digital pathology.
