PicoQuant GmbH has released the SymPhoTime version 5.2.4 fluorescence lifetime imaging and correlation software. The version supports the configuration of the company’s time-correlated single-photon counting system (TCSPC), HydraHarp 400, enabling data acquisition and analysis for up to eight detection channels. The measurement preview functions have been extended. Users can now display TCSPC histograms and intensity time traces for each channel separately during the measurements. In Förster resonance energy transfer, the software allows direct monitoring of changes in the fluorescence intensity of donor and acceptor during data acquisition. The “online-FLIM” (fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy) features of the software also have been improved with the addition of a scalable intensity and lifetime color code.
