Imaging nanoparticles
NanoSight Ltd.Request Info
The NTA 3.1 nanoparticle characterization system
from NanoSight Ltd. provides accurate images of individual nanoscale particles in
suspension. Users can obtain independent quantitative estimates of particle size,
size distribution and concentration. The system includes an optical microscope with
a specialized camera. It can measure nanoparticles down to 9 to 15 nm, depending
on the material. The company says that the system can obtain higher-resolution particle size distribution profiles than other more time-consuming and expensive methods, such as photon correlation spectroscopy. The system comes with
a software package that minimizes noise and enables near-real-time operation, direct
control of the camera, and improved centering and tracking capabilities.
