The prealigned Shamrock 163i spectrograph from Andor Technology plc is based on a Czerny-Turner optical layout and features a 163-mm focal length, an entrance aperture ratio of f/3.6 and a wavelength resolution of 0.17 nm. Designed for imaging or multitrack spectroscopy applications, it is equipped with an image correction lens behind the entrance slit assembly. An optional entrance slit shutter is available for operating in readout mode. The device measures 198 x 216 x 96 mm and can be combined with the company’s iDus CCD detectors, which have TE cooling to —90 °C, USB 2.0 connectivity and a variety of sensor formats.
