STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 26, 2011 — Perten Instruments’ DA 7300 in-line near-infrared process analyzer has been upgraded and can now be seamlessly integrated into industrial environments using OPC and RS-Linx.

Used for process optimization in the agricultural industry, it has already been successfully integrated with Siemens S7 using the built-in OPC server, with Schneider Electric systems through a direct connection to the built-in SQL database, and with other systems using dedicated protocols or 4- to 20-mA signals.

The company has expanded the capabilities by adding connectivity through RS-Linx in plants using Allen-Bradley technology, facilitating information integration and increasing the possibilities for customers using this platform.

The system integration is a two-way communication where measured values, messages and camera images are transferred from the instrument to the system, and commands are sent to the instrument.
