OBERSULM, Germany, Oct. 3, 2018 — Industrial 3D CamerasThe Ensenso XR series of industrial 3D cameras from IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH features integrated data processing for higher flexibility in 3D vision applications.

In contrast to cameras that use computers to calculate the 3D point clouds, this model can calculate them itself. Moreover, the 3D data can also be transferred directly to a control unit via GenICam.

Ensenso XR enables new scopes for application design, accurate acquisition of details, and significant acceleration of data processing.
