IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH has announced its first USB Vision Class (UVC) industrial camera with autofocus and 13-MP resolution.
The UV-3013XC operates within Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and other operating systems without the need to install a device driver.
It delivers images with a resolution of 4192 × 3104 and 4128 × 3096 pixels, or live video in different resolutions up to full HD.
Featuring automatic exposure, white balance and gain controls, the compact camera is suited for professional machine vision applications with changing ambient and light conditions. It is also suitable for kiosk systems, access controls, and applications in transportation and logistics.
