SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 22, 2014 — JAI SP-5000The Spark Series SP-5000 from JAI is now available in models with USB3 Vision or GigE Vision interfaces.

The four cameras use a 2560 × 2048 pixel CMOS imager; M-USB (monochrome), C-USB (color), M-GE2 and C-GE2 offer 5-MP images at up to 62 fps for 8-bit monochrome or raw Bayer configurations.

Monochrome models feature a built-in high dynamic range mode. The cameras’ extended temperature rating enables them to operate in conditions ranging from -45 °C to 70 °C.
