WATERLOO, Canada, March 8, 2016 — Industrial CamerasTeledyne Dalsa Inc. has announced additions to its Genie Nano series of GigE Vision cameras. The color, monochrome and NIR models feature ON Semiconductor’s 2- and 5-MP Python image sensors.

The M1930, C1930, M1930-NIR, M2590, C2590 and M2590-NIR cameras are built around ON-Semiconductor’s Python 2000 and 5000 monochrome (M) and color (C) sensors. The devices take advantage of the Sapera LT Software Development Kit and trigger-to-image-reliability framework for full system-level monitoring, control and diagnostics from image capture through transfer to host memory.

Designed for industrial imaging applications with TurboDrive technology, the cameras are capable of breakthrough data transfer at 2× and 3× the standard GigE Vision rates.
