SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 27, 2020 — Industrial Diode LaserThe HighLight DL HPS from Coherent Inc. is an industrial diode laser that offers output of 1 to 4 kW in a compact, self-contained package.

The laser head, power supply, water chiller, and heat exchanger are all contained in a single enclosure that measures 670 × 1050 × 1760 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. Conduction-cooled laser diodes enable the closed-loop chiller to utilize distilled water, allowing for easy implementation. Near-IR output is delivered through a detachable delivery fiber, terminating in a choice of a QBH or QD connector.

Applications include material treatment, oil/gas, agriculture, construction, 3D additive manufacturing, and semiconductor fabrication.
