PITTSBURGH, Jan. 26, 2023 — The Monaco 1035-150-150 IR industrial femtosecond laser with 150 W of output power from Coherent Corp. is designed to cut large OLED display glass.

The laser outputs more than double the power and pulse energy of existing configurations, enabling high-precision cutting of large glass panels in high volumes to produce large OLED screens with assembly fit in next-generation IT devices. It delivers energy pulses of 150 µJ at a rate of 1 MHz with a pulse width of <400 fs. It includes standard functionality including pulse on demand, variable pulse width tuning, variable repetition rate, and seeder burst mode.
