SOUTHAMPTON, England, Aug. 29, 2016 — Industrial Fiber LasersSPI Lasers has announced the QUBE high-brightness, KW class, continuous wave industrial fiber lasers, with initial launch products ranging in power levels from 500 W to 6 kW.

A pierce detection feature maximizes the efficiency of sheet metal cutting. The laser collects and analyses light reflected back from the cutting process and provides a PLC-compatible control signal that changes state within milliseconds of the sheet being pierced, allowing the cutting machine to begin its task in a much shorter time window.

The lasers are available at 500 W, 1 kW, 1.5 kW, 3 kW, 4.5 kW and 6 kW.
