The ITALA® G series of industrial GigE vision cameras from Opto Engineering SpA are area scan devices with Power over Ethernet.

With resolutions ranging from 3.2 to 31 MP, the devices provide robust and reliable operation for imaging applications. They integrate a 384-MB image buffer, allowing for better camera performance when used in burst mode, a 12-pin Hirose connector, and a serial port with the possibility of selecting the RS232 or RS485 standard. An incremental encoder interface provides direct control of devices such as conveyor belts or stepper motors.
