Industrial Image SensorsThe CSG family of high-speed industrial image sensors from ams AG allow factory operators to increase throughput while improving quality, providing for better detection of defects in high-speed inspection applications.

The CSG14K and CSG8K sensors, supplied in a standard 1- or 1/1.1-in. optical format, respectively, allow factory operators to increase throughput while improving quality, providing for better detection of defects in high-speed inspection applications. The CSG14K combines a resolution of 13.8-MP with high-speed operation. In 10-bit mode at full resolution, the sensor can capture images at a maximum rate of 140 fps, with 93.6 fps in 12-bit mode. The CSG8K achieves higher speeds of 231 fps in 10-bit and 155 fps in 12-bit mode at its full resolution of 8 MP.

The global shutter image sensors are ideal for use in the industrial, security, broadcast video, and intelligent transportation systems applications.
