Lumics.jpgThe LU1064U170 manufactured by Lumics GmbH is a laser chip on a U-mount, containing an optimized GaInAs/AlGaAs quantum well laser structure on a GaAs substrate. The chip provides double-emitter 400-μm pitch and operates at 1064 nm. Mounted on a copper base, it is electrically isolated. Each chip is individually serialized for traceability and is shipped with a specified set of test data. It is suitable for solid-state fibre laser pumping, illumination, plastics welding, marking and printing applications.
