BARRINGTON, N.J., April 12, 2013 — Edmund Optics is offering Mitutoyo glass thickness-compensated infinity-corrected objectives for bright-field microscopy applications including inspecting LCDs, semiconductor or flat screen television monitors, and for imaging into a vacuum.

Available in 20X and 50X magnifications, the infinity-corrected, G Plan apochromatic objectives image objects through glass up to 3.5 mm thick and feature color reproducibility and a flat image surface over the entire field of view.

The objectives also are suitable for life sciences applications including imaging through a coverslip or through mediums such as agar, water or nutrients.
